AI will make organisations more capable. It can also make them harder to understand.
We believe organisations should be able to use increasingly capable models, agents and systems without giving up control over how work moves, where decisions are made or who remains responsible.
That belief shapes what we build.
Founder note
Why we started Ongo
Ongo did not start with a product. It started with a problem.
AI is becoming more capable very quickly, but work itself is not becoming simpler. More systems, more tools, more information and increasingly more intelligence all have to work together. We started by trying to understand what that means for people, teams and organizations, and by writing about the underlying questions: fragmentation, operating logic, ownership, context and control.
Those ideas, combined with years of experience across technology, operations, commercial environments and organizational change, became the basis for Ongo. We are building a practical answer to the problems we believe AI will make more important, not less.
Ongo is therefore not only built for organizations. It is built for people and teams as well: anyone who needs intelligence to help work move faster without making that work harder to understand, own or control.
